Description

Engineered for heavy-duty commercial and industrial applications, our rigid PA12 Nylon Pneumatic Tubing delivers high-pressure performance and unmatched reliability. Manufactured from high-viscosity Polyamide 12, this tubing meets stringent SAE J844, DIN 74324, and ISO 7628 standards, making it the industry choice for air brake systems, hydraulic lines, and pneumatic controls. It features exceptional resistance to oil, fuel, road salt, and UV exposure, maintaining structural integrity in extreme temperatures from -40°F to +248°F (-40°C to +120°C). Available in a full range of Imperial (1/8″ to 3/4″) and Metric sizes for immediate North American dispatch.

Product Overview

When safety and pressure retention are critical, standard tubing is not enough. Our PA12 (Polyamide 12) Nylon Tubing is specifically formulated for high-pressure pneumatic systems and commercial vehicle air brakes. Featuring a high-viscosity extrusion process, this rigid tubing provides superior burst strength, dimensional stability, and long-term fatigue resistance.

Designed for the demanding North American transportation and manufacturing sectors, it perfectly integrates with push-to-connect (PTC) fittings and compression fittings, ensuring a leak-free seal even under heavy vibration and dynamic mechanical stress.

Key Performance Advantages

  • DOT & SAE Compliant: Strictly adheres to SAE J844 requirements for use in commercial vehicle air brake systems, ensuring regulatory compliance and on-the-road safety.

  • Extreme Weather Resilience: Engineered to withstand harsh North American winters and high-heat engine environments with a broad operating range of -40°F to +248°F.

  • Maximum Chemical & Environmental Defense: Highly resistant to hydraulic fluids, diesel fuel, engine oil, road salt, and harsh industrial chemicals. Black tubing options offer enhanced UV resistance for prolonged outdoor exposure.

  • High Burst Pressure: The rigid, high-viscosity PA12 structure prevents ballooning and pressure loss, maintaining consistent flow rates in heavy-duty pneumatic circuits.

  • Kink & Abrasion Resistant: Offers superior mechanical strength against rubbing, chafing, and impact compared to standard polyurethane (PU) or lower-grade nylon (PA6) tubes.
