Thank you for shopping with Vortex Air Hose (operated by Vortex Diamond Inc.). We take pride in delivering heavy-duty, DOT-compliant commercial vehicle air brake lines, electrical cords, and truck accessories. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

30-Day Return Policy

We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unused, uninstalled, and unworn.
  • The item must be in its original packaging with all included components, accessories, glad hands, seals, and spring guards.
  • You will need to provide the proof of purchase or order number.
Items returned with signs of installation, air line cutting, road usage, or physical damage will not be eligible for a full refund.

Return Process

  1. Initiate a Request: Contact our customer service team at support@vortexairhose.com with your order number, product SKU, and the reason for the return.
  2. Receive Authorization: Once your return is approved, we will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions.
  3. Pack & Ship: Securely pack the item in its original box. Include all accessories and clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of the package.
  4. Return Address: All authorized returns must be shipped back to our central fulfillment center:

Shipping Costs for Returns

  • Standard Returns (Customer Preference / Ordered Wrong Size or Length): The customer is responsible for covering all return shipping costs. Shipping fees paid on the original order are non-refundable.
  • Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items: If you received a defective hose, damaged electrical cord, or the wrong product due to our error, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will cover the return shipping costs by providing a pre-paid return shipping label and ship out a replacement immediately at no extra charge.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item or length (e.g., swapping a 12FT air line for a 15FT long-tail kit).

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item at our Wheeling, IL warehouse:

  • We will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If approved, your refund will be processed automatically to your original payment method within 3 to 5 business days.
  • Note: Processing times may vary depending on your credit card issuer or bank institution.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned:

  • Products that show clear signs of installation, vehicle mounting, or operational wear.
  • Custom orders, special bulk fleet requests, or modified hose assemblies.
  • Clearance or final sale items.
